CODES GO INTO EFFECT AND WILL BE ENFORCED BEGINNING MARCH 8, 2024.

Due to a Presidential visit to Southern California, there will be a Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) starting Tuesday 2/20/2024 2:30PM to Wednesday 2/21/2024 at 3:00PM.

Runways 29R/11L and 29Left/11Right will be closed overnight, until approximately February 6 @ 07:00 AM.  South Runway 29L/11R and Taxiway Alpha will be affected through February 6th.

The South runway, runway 29Left/11Right will be closed from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am until approximately October 23, 2023.

City Hall and Noise Abatement Office Closed.

Noise Monitor #7 is now fully operational and collecting data as expected.

NOISE MONITOR #7 IS CURRENTLY NON-OPERATIONAL. The City is working with our vendor, Casper, to restore the monitor to normal operations.

Please be aware that the City’s Trending in Torrance webpage for Airport Noise Information was recently updated to include an upcoming City Council agenda item scheduled for July 25, 2023.  The subject agenda item will bring forth recommendations from the Transportation Committee for the City Council’s consideration on the airport noise matter.  These recommendations include:

Torrance Unified School District in conjunction with the Torrance Airport Association is having its STEM Day workshop on the Robinson Helicopter leasehold. Airport Operations will not be impacted. The event will take place Friday, March 31, 2023, from 7:30 to 1:30 PM.
